Cameron Gearen Media and Savvy College Consulting are located in Oak Park, Illinois. clients hail from Michigan, Connecticut, Washington D.C., New York, North Carolina, California, Illinois and international locations including Mexico.

Cameron holds an MFA in poetry writing and is a widely published and award-winning writer. In 2005, United States Poet Laureate Robert Pinsky selected her chapbook for publication and her full-length book of poems, Some Perfect Year, is slated for publication in April, 2016. She has won many national writing awards including a grant  from the Connecticut Commission on the Arts and one from the Barbara Deming Money for Women Prize.
